Redditch VC Womens Football team was founded in 2004. The team began in the Birmingham league where they finished 5th at the end of the season.

Season 2004-05 saw the team come runners up in the CWGFL after seeing off some tough opposition.

In 2005-06, Redditch switched leagues to enter the Kidderminster and District Football League. They finished 4th, even though they were strong contenders for 2nd position throughout the season.

In 2006-07, Redditch finished second in the Kidderminster League. This enabled them to be offered promotion due to the leaders declining.

2007-08 sees VC now in the West Midland League after securing promotion.

2008-09 Redditch United WFC narrowly stay up in the West Midland League and look to finish their campaign further up the stiff table.

Redditch VC changed to Redditch Utd Womens Team for the 2007-08 season; now officially affiliated to the men - Redditch United, playing on the conference level pitch for all home games.

Ethos

The team ethos is to play serious football but to have fun doing so.

Training and Games

Home games are held at the Redditch Untied ground, Valley Stadium, Bromsgrove Road, directions can be found on the Contact page.

Winter training is held at the Hockey, Cricket and Rugby club astro turf, summer training on the grass pitch to the right of the astro, again on the Bromsgrove Road, 7pm start.
